Ordered battered fish and chips, as well as a fisherman's basket for 1 for my partner. The fish was crumbed not battered, and tasted off/bad at the first bite. Partner experienced the same taste with his fish and calamari and we couldn't eat anything else as it had put us off our food. Waste of $32.

As visitors to Ipswich from NZ, my girl and I really love potato fritters from home and decided to try the offerings from here. We were not disappointed at all. I asked for 2 and we received 4! Crunchy, dry and not oily and just the right amount of potato. We're sold on this place and will return in a heart beat. Such lovely inviting staff and very quick service. Well done Booval Seafood, we're converts and will spread the word to all that will listen back home.

The team that was on tonight was very disappointing. Had to ring 3 times for them to answrr the phone (which has never happened before) and when I got there the customer in front of me was waiting to order and was standing there for at least 15 minutes while the girls just ignored the counter. Might be worth having a chat to them as a second customer behind me walked out for same issue.

Ordered 2 battered barramundi 10 calamari scollops and bunch of other snackables, absolute perfectly cooked, watched them freshly batter the fish, perfectly cooked the calamari and beautiful flavouring! 10/10 for food, service 10/10, we also showed up 15 minutes before close and was treated super well. Extremely impressed!!

This is a $5 box of chips, I've put an ice cream next to it to show the actual size and how embarrassingly small it is. The chips have always been average from here but the drastic size reduction is offensive.

Not very happy at all with the food chicken pattie was so small and dry bun Chips where dry looked like the would glow in the dark colour wise!!! Not very happy at all will not be coming back..

Seems to have gone downhill recently. Rubbery chips and calamari rings. Crumbed fish smelled a little weird. I think I'll be trying elsewhere in future.

I like booval seafood quite a bit. Good people. Good food. Just good all round. The price of fish is a bit dear but that is to be expected with today's economy. Still love it anyway.
